"Was it really a 5-star hotel? Well, how about it was as good as it gets in Barstow. I liked the no-carpet rooms. Something in the building made an odd noise but it only happened once. Seriously no big. I'm assuming the hotel is family owned or management lived onsite which made me feel safe. "We stayed at seven motels in the last couple of weeks and this one was by far the best. The owner was very friendly, the motel room was very well kept and clean, and the breakfast that is served was the best of any Motel we have been in.
