"This was our first hotel experience as a couple, as we normally hire a villa, car and fend for ourselves. However, family tragedies dictated that we needed to escape and be “looked after” in order to de-stress, rest and recharge our batteries after six weeks of heartache. "We had high expectations for this property, especially given the good communication from the owner before our arrival, who provided helpful information. However, our experience was far from what we had hoped. The biggest issue was the noise. Our room (Room 3) was located next to a busy road, and the bin collection at 5:00 AM added to the disturbance. The rooms are not soundproof, so we could hear everything from neighboring rooms—doors closing, showers running, conversations, and even toilets...
