Truly enjoyed my 5-day stay here. The room was clean, cozy and equipped with basic necessities ( kettle, fridge, TV, hairdryer) and the bed was comfortable. There are many great restaurants and shops nearby. It’s only 3 minutes away from Winterthur train station which can take you to Zurich Central in 20 minutes. They cleaned my room and changed my towels every 2 days. I will stay here again when I visit Zurich.

No one was ever at the reception the whole time we were there. Had to arrange everything with the restaurant staff next door. Room had an unpleasant smell, poor lighting and an uncomfortable and not so clean bed.

We arrived around 18:00 and the door was closed with the only the mentionned that we could call a phone number if tzhere was no one. We tried to call that number but never reached anyone at this number. Finally we asked the restaurant crew and they took charge of our check in. So it would be useful for futur travelers to know that they can ask the restaurant crew if no one from the hotel is there. Thanks

Good location (easy to train station and to ZRH from there) and spacious clean room. But - big but - BIG problem with communication here. I’m not a big complainer, but this was bad. I booked a room for two nights as I often do when my travel plans can change and I’m arriving early in the morning and want a room ready. The hotel messaged me asking what time I expected to arrive and I informed them it was likely to be after 2100 on Saturday or earlier sunday morning. I expected to be told what to do to check in, but I got ZERO reply, even after sending two more messages in the same way they originally reached out to me! Having read other reviews issues with check in, I opted to come in the morning to avoid the chance of being abandoned outside late at night. I arrived the next morning and the clerk seemed to have no record of my reservation, or my payment, even after I showed him the messages THEY sent ME. To top it all off, I was forced to wait for a room despite having paid for the night before - what did they do, give my room away? No attempts to contact me? Really poor job. I won’t be back and I wouldn’t stay there unless you know undoubtedly that youll arrive during 1000-1800 AND have a phone to call them (as i arrived at 10am and no answer to doorbell so still had to call).
