The hotel is in a nice position along the river and the staff is very helpful, offering to plan your day and buy tickets on your behalf. The structure is quite run down, is clear that it used to be a very nice hotel but is now falling into disrepair, a shame as it has very good potential

Room was nice and big with daily cleaning. The wifi wasn’t great, however we were also in the mountains so it’s expected. The best part without a doubt was the staff at the reception-desk, especially the young guy who helped us with absolutely everything we asked, from planning trips and giving detailed descriptions about every place we went, to ordering take out for us and chatting with us on WeChat when needed at all hours. Would come back for the good service alone. 10/10 !

The staff is great, but the area is difficult to reach by taxi, the air conditioning in the room does not work well and only freezes you or does not work at all.

Good stay but with some negatives

I have a good stay. It is a walking distance to many shops and restaurants. It is down the alleyway. My driver was having problem to locate the hotel at first. But the hotel was able to assist the driver and went out to greet the driver, guiding him to the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. They have experience in the tourism industry. They were able to help me plan for my daily activities. They also made arrangements for tickets for me. This is a definite plus for the property. I will stay at this hotel again because of this reason. Some negatives about this hotel is that the hotel's plumbing is not very good, so you do have reflux of the sewer smell going up to the bathroom. The second issue I have is that the Wi-Fi is slow and the internet connection is intermittent. So if that is an issue for you, then you may have to reconsider. We are in the middle of a mountain area, so I wasn't expecting a lot. Overall, we had a very good experience at this hotel.

The hosts at this property are wonderful. They were extremely attentive and did all our park entrance booking and reservations for us, and gave us recommended itineraries for each place, and you would not go wrong to follow their advice.

The hotel is conveniently located near the tourist spot of Wulingyuan, and there are restaurants and food stalls nearby. The staff were friendly and kindly explained the sightseeing route to us, so we were able to get around smoothly. Thank you. It was a great hotel.
