Het waren heerlijke huisjes op een rustige locatie met een prachtig uitzicht. Huisjes waren schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Verder zijn de eigenaren zeer vriendelijk en voel je je er zeer welkom.

My stay here far exceeded my expectations!! The cottage was clean, cozy, and perfect in every way. Owners Hara and Denis were beyond helpful and truly cared about each guest. I would recommend this truly unique spot all day, everyday!!

Holidays in the midst of nature Despite unannounced appearance, we are warmly welcomed with coffee and cake. We sit comfortably in the shade and are provided with information about the island. The two cats and the small dog complete the idyll. When we get the cottage we get a bottle of water, homemade wine, olive oil, jam. Remarkable is the cleanliness and the loving design of the property. The small cottages are very well equipped, with a terrific terrace with view to the sea. We will recommend the accommodation to our friends.

Amazing hosts and nice accomodation

The hosts were beyond nice, so welcoming and caring! They made our stay in Zakynthos easy by organising transport for us around the island, providing us with basic things such as water, helping us with anything around the house, and giving us a very warm welcome! They made us feel like we were at home. As for the accommodation, the cottages are very cute and cosy. The beds were comfortable and everything was overall very clean. We would definitely stay at Ilyessa cottages again, and would recommend to all our friends! Thank you to our hosts for making our trip in Zakynthos one to remember.

pleasant Zakynthos cottage

The cottage is quite comfortable and the owner is very friendly. The only problem we had with the air conditioner was solved immediately. A little bit difficult to drive to the cottage if you do not know the road and only follows the GPS to drive up the mountain and then down the mountain again to reach the cottage. The owner however could suggest the easy road and some tour programs according to your own need. Parking is free. Very quiet place to sleep, except the rooster in the village crowing very early in the morning.

Beauty laced with acts of kindness

So many wonderful memories that we imagined the above headline 2 days into our stay! The home cooking delivered to our cottage, the invitation on our first evening to join our hosts and their friends for dinner and our shared discussion long into the warm night, the heritage tomatoes and plums grown by our host's father and his wine and raki waiting for us on our arrival. the trips to shops and conversations, the walks amongst the olive groves as we made our way to the fish tavernas for fresh food and music, and so much more! A perfect way to unwind from the cares of the everyday!
