The property is small and boutique like (just 14 rooms), very nice and top quality. The staff are what makes the property so nice. Yumi, the manageress could not do enough for us, but also all the other staff too were so nice and welcoming. Breakfast almost seemed like having your own personal chef. Staff were fantastic, breakfast was nice with great coffee. Location a little out of the way but transport very cheap. Rooms were nice with lots of complimentary items . The best overall hotel we have stayed in and would stay here again

We stayed for 2 nights and we were pleased with the variety of food for breakfast, the early check-in given and the easy check out. We were given a connecting room so it was really a very comfortable stay. No hassle.

I’ve been to Thailand a few times and the Empress Hotel has to the best hotel I’ve stayed in for service. When I arrived I received a voucher for a free drink and a welcome gift as well as being upgraded and in my room fresh fruit, the staff were just excellent very polite, friendly and helpful, good choice of food at breakfast time, the pool area was good as was my room(1501) If I do come back to Chiang Mai again I will definitely stay at the Empress Hotel

This is a really amazing hotel in a good quiet location yet only 15 minute to night market and old town. Can’t speak highly enough of the staff and the place is immaculate. If you go to Chiang Mai stay there!!

The best hotel I’ve stayed in for this price! All of the staff were friendly, respectful and attentive. They always go the extra mile, even when we didn’t ask for help they’ve thought of what we might need for our day excursion and offered us bottled water, insect repellent and face masks. Great hotel in an ideal location inside the city wall. Friendly staff who are available 24 hours. Tasty breakfast provided with complimentary drinking water, tea and coffee provided in reception all hours. This was a massive bonus knowing we could go back to drinking water. Nice pool outside with a few sunbeds. Would stay here again.

A very nice and clean hotel. My only slight criticisms were apart from check in I didn’t see a member of staff and the lighting in the bathroom wasn’t bright enough.
