"We came expecting to walk a distance to the main shopping area. We were pleasantly surprised the unit is just in the heart of the Hongdae area. The rooms are clean, and even had a welcome basket with snacks in it. The owner is very nice and replied to my queries very fast. The bathrooms come equipped with most necessities less toothbrush but we brought our own. There is a total of 3 queen size beds and one sofa bed. Comes with a kitchen and dining area with fridge, microwave and pots for cooking...

The staff was very hospitable and helpful with dining suggestions and fun recommendations. The area is very safe and there are tons of walkable food options and shopping areas. "Great little spot tucked away in the quieter part of Hongdae, only short walk to get to the lively spots. Rooms are basic, but nice with complementary charger and fridge, if you just need a place to test during your sightseeing this is a great spot. Communal area is cozy and has plenty of offerings for a quick morning snack and breakfast before you head out. Access is by code, host greets and gets you squared away quickly. "

"Clean and great location just a 5 minute walk from Hongik University station. Bonus…it is on the airport line and for a mere 5500 won for the fast train to terminals 1 and 2 to/from Incheon Airport, and Gimpo airport is a stop as well. The 1 Line is a straight line to Jamsil and Lotte Tower and popular stops in central Seoul. Shopping on Honguate is just about 5/10 minute walk. Olive Young store for a comprehensive selection of Korean skincare is super close as well to the Daol Guesthouse....

"Great location and super helpful host Jin who went out of her way to ease our trip. The hill leading to the guesthouse is pretty manageable unless you are carrying heavy luggage. The building is older and there are some signs of gentle wear and tear, but Jin made a great effort to make it comfortable, and it provides excellent value given the price, location, and amount of space for our family of 4. I would stay here again on my next trip. "
