If you're up for a bit of wildlife watching, the Lamar Valley is perfect for spotting bison and elk, with plenty of open space for your pet to roam (on a leash, of course!). Lastly, consider staying in Gardiner, a pet-friendly town just outside the park's north entrance, which provides convenient access to Yellowstone's vast wilderness while offering several hotels that cater to your needs, ensuring a comfortable stay with attentive service. Here, you can unwind after a day of exploration, letting your pets bask in the gorgeous mountain views and fresh air.

"The lobby and decor is awesome. A little rough loading in and out right along the street. Room and bathroom were ultra small. Breakfast was nice. No meat, but had boiled eggs and a nice selection of continental stuff."

Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel

8/10 Good
"The motel is very outdated considering the price. Our room was very loud (between the people by the firepit and the squeaky floors). Be aware! The deposit that you pay through Expedia may or may not exist. I was quite surprised that I owed almost $600 instead of $250. The person at the desk said that they really don’t charge the deposit and total payment is due (It didn’t matter what the Expedia app said). The room itself was clean although dark. There was no cleaning service while we stayed there."
