"The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! "山奥です。施設周辺は夜の買い物がやや不便です。正直それを好む方がオススメです。ちゃんと昼間に買い出ししてればキッチンでとっても楽しく料理出来ます。朝はデッキでとても気持ちよくコーヒー飲んで過ごせました。いくつか果物を頂きました。是非エンジョイして欲しいです。"

"If a room has a shared toilet and bath, then they should say this clearly. They do not. It's rather expensive considering that the toilet is down the hall and shared with everyone else. "
