"I found the room clean and comfortable. It felt homey and quiet, I had a good sleep every night. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Booked two rooms, same price and one (though on the 2nd floor) basically was like a basement room. The window looked at the back of the slide to the pool and the blinds had to be kept closed. The bathroom floor had some gum stuck on the floor. The other room (same floor other side of hallway, unable to get attached rooms per request) one bed was extremely warn out (mattress) though pillows were comfortable. Cigarette smoke came through the A/C vents off and on. Unfortunately had noisy upstairs neighbors and with the new faux hardwood floors you hear every drop or drag or a chair, etc. Later between 1-3:30am strange activity from guests across the hallway with standing outside the room and trading ppl going in and out several times and would not have felt safe to address them. Surprised there isn’t security walking around, especially based on location. If that was on camera it should have been investigated for safety. Overall, didn’t feel welcomed upon arrival and clearly under renovation and I should have asked ahead of booking. The morning redeemed itself with very friendly staff for breakfast and greet service. However, I would not chance booking again."

"Spacious rooms, nice bathroom (just bad water pressure in the shower). The housekeeping staff didn’t end up cleaning our room though. We were in our room when they knocked on the door and we told them we were just about to leave so they could clean the room then. When we came back to the room, it hadn’t been cleaned. Then they knocked again when we were back, we said “we’ll go to the pool so you can clean”. Spent an hour in the pool and came back to our room… not cleaned. They knocked an hour later, we said we’d be gone to dinner at 7 and then could come back then. After dinner we came to the room and it hadn’t been cleaned. When spending 500$ for two nights at a mid tier hotel in Winnipeg, you kind of want a clean room."

"Clean rooms. Pool a bit older style and never and towels stocked in it. The microwave didn't work and the coffee maker was missing a piece. The toilet would randomly run. Breakfast was a fairly good variety but would have been good to have another protein other than sausages."

"We had a really good time as per usual. My only complaint was we never received turned down service for our room until we called the front desk and asked for it. Also our air conditioner didn't work properly they said they would send a maintenance and they never did. When I called and asked about room service for making the beds and cleaning the room etc, I was told that I had to make sure I didn't put the plastic do not disturb sign on the door knob, which I told them I already knew about. That's just common sense. But when we still didn't get our room cleaned that day, I called the front desk again and then a different person told me I had to specifically ask to have my room cleaned and they only clean the rooms based on request which is crazy. Other than that we had a really good stay."
