"The room was fine. But the party right next door until late at night and the staff talking in the hallway early truly ruined the stay. The noise from the party was awful. The staff were lovely and helpful. The room needs plates and cutlery for people eating in their room. It’s an old run down historical hotel but that gives it some charm too. But if you’re looking for peace and quiet this isn’t the place."

Reception unmanned unless you phone a mobile first. Parking spaces very tight. Friendly proprietor, good towels. Microwave and kettle supplied as well as bowls and cutlery. "
