Formal Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service and Unsatisfactory Stay To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally complain about the profoundly unsatisfactory experience I had with your customer service and during my recent stay at your hotel. My issues are twofold: 1. Unprofessional and Rude Customer Service: I contacted your customer service to resolve a billing discrepancy, as I was charged twice for a single trip. My interaction with a representative who identified herself as a manager was unacceptable. · On my first call, she dismissed my concern, stating the system was updating and she could not help. She promised to call back within an hour but did not. · When I called back two hours later, she claimed she was "just about to call" but now could not assist because my call had somehow disrupted her process and she could not locate my transaction. · She then demanded I email her details instead of resolving the issue on the phone. · When I requested to speak with a manager, she stated she was the manager. Upon expressing my dissatisfaction with her service, she arrogantly claimed she was "providing the most excellent service" I could get. · She ultimately dismissed me by saying she would call back in two days, which is an unreasonable delay for a billing issue. This behavior was evasive, unhelpful, and remarkably rude from someone in a managerial position. 2. Substandard Room Conditions: The poor service was compounded by the condition of my room, which

they gave me a regular room even though my booking was for a deluxe room. They initially lied about it, but when I extended my stay with a separate reservation, I found out that the deluxe rooms are in a different building. The shift manager showed me both rooms, and that’s when I realized my original room was not deluxe. I was then moved to the deluxe room. However, both rooms had issues. no internet, no hot water, and a very unpleasant smell.

Our room was on the second floor at the end of the building and to get to it we went had to go around and around multiple hallways. It was like a maze. Plus we were woken up one morning by the housekeeper who was making up the room across from us. She was talking on the phone loudly and had it on speaker phone with high volume so we heard the other end of conversation too. Went on for 20 minutes.

Issues at check in typically reserve mobility accessible, disconnect during check-in staff was a little dramatic when I requested a first floor room and we were travelling from Florida to CT; let's just say only one of us should have been dramatic, many traffic issues seemed overwhelmed insisting hotel was sold out. Our assigned room was on 2nd floor, with no elevator and the very end of building thankfully there was a chair mid way to the room. Room's AC sounded like a washer continually on spin cycle, room was not properly cooling.

The lack of an elevator was a mild issue, since my wife hurt her ankle, so stairs were difficult. But, we worked through it. However, the hotel ran out of bottled water and had limited other options in the form of non-sugary soda (just Diet Coke). Again, not insurmountable, because there is a Big Y store in the next lot, so I walked over and bought a 6-pack of water. It just seemed that the staff didn't care enough to help, like it was my fault.
