"The potholes were deep and large, the brokendown RV on blocks was a prominent feature of the parking lot. The floor of the room was sticky. The top cover of the bed was stained (I hope permanently) and our room was graced with a direct beam of the parking lot light that was as bright as the sun, and we had no clothes pins to firmly close the drapes."
"This place is wonderful, this was my third visit and I will return. Staff very pleasant, clean cabins, and great location. Quieter than most places with beautiful beach ❤️👍😎"
"Weak water pressure in shower. Nice room. Quiet. Staff was unfriendly. Seemed as though we were a bother to her. Just gave us the key. Nothing else. No response"
"Office was closed most of the time during stay; place seemed to be managed from a hotel across the street. This made check-in a bit awkward as we had to call their main number and be guided into room over phone. Rooms are accessed by pin pad on the door, which was unique.
Overall the hotel was great. Our room is what I'd call a studio suite, with a sleeping area opening into a living area and small kitchen. There were two tv's -- one in each area --, a remote controlled gas fireplace and a spacious bathroom. Coffee, tea, etc. was a bit limited; will remember to bring our own next time. However, a coffee stand is right across the parking lot.
There are several different room options, so check their website before making reservation."
"My family stayed in one of the newly renovated condos, absolutely beautiful! The condo was updated so modern but still beachy! View was stunning, perfect sunset views from the balcony! Staff was so wonderful and accommodating, one of our cars wouldn’t start and they were accommodating when we needed to extend our stay another day. My family had such a great time, we plan on renting the condo for more family beach getaways! Thank you Chataqua staff! Breakfast was great as well, good variety of breakfast foods! "
"The owner Jackie is extremely sweet and kind. She was very accomodating and the stay was wonderful. I would recommend staying here. She even upgraded us to a bigger room as we were travelling with our toddler. Lovely clean comfortable rooms."
