Short trip, great stay

It was a small weekend trip. We were there during one of Wildwood’s Beach Blast tournaments. Very close to the beach, very friendly staff, and very clean. Was a great stay and we would definitely stay again.

About our room

Room was comfortable. Very short walk to beach, boardwalk and restaurant are close by. Room is a little dated but clean and comfortable. Our room had a full size bed which was okay a queen size would have been welcomed. I would stay again.

I stayed at Calypso Boutique for Memorial Day Weekend with my husband and daughter and we had a great time. The room was very spacious, not too big and not too small. It was very quiet at the hotel and clean and the parking was super convenient for us. The hotel staff were so nice and even gave us a welcome goodie bag. The hotel is only about a five minute walk from the boardwalk. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect stay!

Perfect hotel ! Great location. Very clean. Air conditioning was on point. Kept us cool with humidity outside. Bed was so cozy! We had a large refrigerator and a great shower head. Front desk staff was very accommodating. We arrived at 11am (hours before check in) and were able to park our car and utilize their restroom. We stayed at Quebec last year and had a great time and tried Calypso this year and had a great time. Perfect motel !

Plenty of free parking. Very close to the beach exactly 1 block away from the boardwalk. Everything is within walking distance. Decent, clean room for my husband and I. Not a big room but it’s fine for just 2 people. Very good price compared to the other places to stay in the area. No pool but it’s connected to Quebec so you have access to that one which is right across the street. The roof top deck is also nice.

The hotel is a registered historic building, so it’s not modern. BUT the room was freshly painted and super clean. Fixtures were a little dated, but again, clean and well cared for. 2 minute walk to the boardwalk, and in easy walking distance to restaurants, etc. we parked our car when we arrived and didn’t move it until we checked out. My only complaint is they provide a coffee maker, but no coffee. Had to run to the bodega at 9:30 at night.

Covered the basics

I stayed for one night with my two sons (one adult son/one 12-year-old). It did the job. I was looking for something clean, close to the beach and quiet during normal sleeping hours. The room is small, but it worked for us. I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for all the bells and whistles. I would however highly recommend if you were looking to spend less for a place that is clean, close to the beach and boardwalk. Basically, somewhere descent to shower and crash after being out enjoying the fun.
