Top Whistler Hotel Reviews
Crystal Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a wonderful stay at The Crystal Lodge! One of the best things about this hotel is the location. It’s right in the heart of Whistler Village, so as soon as you walk downstairs, you’re surrounded by restaurants, shops, cafés, and everything the Village has to offer. It was incredibly convenient and such a beautiful place to stay. What really stood out to us was how genuinely dog-friendly the hotel is. We brought our two dogs with us, and they stayed for free! The hotel even provided dog bowls, blankets, towels, and other little things for them during our stay. We’ve stayed at other hotels with our dogs before, but we’ve never experienced one that made them feel quite this welcome. It made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable knowing our dogs were just as welcome as we were. The staff were great and very welcoming, and we also loved having access to amenities like the pool, hot tub, gym, and sauna. Parking was very convenient as well. The parkade is just around the corner and brings you directly up to the hotel. Parking is an additional $34 and isn’t included with the room, but this was clearly communicated to us beforehand, so there were no surprises. The only small downside was that our room with two double beds was a little snug, especially with my husband, myself, and our two dogs. However, it was completely manageable and didn’t take away from our experience. Overall, we had a fantastic stay!"
Summit Lodge Boutique Hotel
8/10 Good
"Summit lodge is conveniently located on the edge of the main shopping area. The room was nice and well equipped, and we had a balcony with a view of the mountains. The only negative was that we asked for a quiet room. When we checked in, the man on the desk (who was lovely), said that this had not been possible and that we were opposite the lift on the 4th floor. Throughout the nights there was an intermittent loud hum (which I thought might be the fridge, but it wasn’t in the room). I’m not sure if it was the lift motors. Also, early on the first morning, a large inconsiderate group spent 5 minutes talking loudly outside our room while presumably waiting for the lift. The second morning we were woken by the fire alarm at 7.15 and had to evacuate the hotel. Not really their fault on either counts, but didn’t feel rested after our stay."
