"The historical house really made it a special stay. The staff both at the hotel and the bar/grill were friendly, and shared great stories of the home. Durham is a fantastic town with great history that the Durham Historical Association, which is just down from the hotel proudly displays. I will definitely return."
"Room was very comfortable and clean. Cleanest hot tub I’ve ever been in. My only complaint was when I took a shower it went to freezing cold to scolding hot in the middle of it. Staff was exceptionally friendly."

"We had a wonderful greeting by the hotel manager. He assisted with getting us checked in and provided us options for a late dinner. Our room was clean and easy to locate what we needed. The refrigerator was cold (not always the case). Pool was great. Breakfast was well stocked. I’d stay there again!"

"These were cute little cabins, rustic, but clean and tidy with everything there for staying for awhile. AC too. We were on the water and the geese welcomed us in the morning! The cabin had a screened in porch with comfy chairs. There was a nice little beach with kayaks to use, a fire pit and firewood for each cabin. The bed was comfy. It was nice and we would definitely visit again."
