  • 7 mile beach in Grand Caymans. First stop on the adventure of the seas and did the catamaran snorkel. Which was amazing. Highly recommended. The beach is very clean and we felt safe while there. We took the public bus back to Port which was about $5 a person.

The food is tremendous. The chefs are excellent. Everything is fresh and delicious. The staff was incredible the entire stay. Room was modern and everything worked perfectly. We loved everything. I do wish they had dinner service and a bartender all day, but minor inconvenience.

Vida is one of the most tranquil places I've ever been. The beautiful ocean breeze, coupled with the amazing views, the lovely staff and the effort they went to for us,made it one of the best places to experience Grand Cayman. Nourish restaurant which is on site, was delightful, you get to enjoy all the local produce the island has to offer. We will be back for sure!

I have been visiting Cayman for 30 years. Vida is a new property and I was interested to see what it had to offer. The staff were really friendly & welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and being a smaller hotel they knew all their guests. The apartment was really comfortable with everything you needed and had lovely sea views. The hotel was so quiet & peaceful and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on my balcony watching the waves. As part of the wellness package I took part in some of the yoga classes available and I was also able to have spa treatments in my room for a reasonable price. The choice of dishes for breakfast at the onsite restaurant Nourish was great. The Barkers Breakfast was a real highlight after a long walk on the beach. I had a lovely visit - would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Great boutique property with excelle t staff who were super accommodating. Nourish, the restaurant on premise, was healthy and delicious. It was not fully booked so our stay felt private and quiet. The beach near property is not great. But you can drive to better ones within 10 minutes.

Staying at Vida was like staying at someone’s gorgeous vacation home. It is small enough that all the staff know you and the culture is to go out of their way to be courteous and helpful. The front desk staff helped us select dinner places, snorkeling places and even provided a beach blanket and snorkel gear. The restaurant has some of the best quality and value on the island- we felt like we were in someone’s kitchen. The yoga instructor was excellent. The room was large and immaculate- the housekeeper arranged our toiletries and coordinated with the front desk when we were eating so they never interrupted our schedule. Our only gripe is the beach isn’t very swimmable because it’s quite rocky and the waves are big- but it is a beautiful walk and you can see the kite surfers. The rooster does start making noise in the morning but we were able to get back to sleep and accept that roosters are a part of the Grand Cayman experience. We loved our stay at VIDA!
