"Orbitz is the worst. They have screwed up their last reservation for me. And Windsor Suites have earned my business for ANY trip I ever have to take to Philadelphia in the future. My plans changed and Orbitz wanted to charge me in excess of $200 to cancel my $145 hotel room. Through the Orbitz portal I sent a "direct message" to The Windsor Suites that I would be a day late. Orbitz does NOT forward messages on to the hotel I learned. I was cancelled as a no-show. The Windsor Suites staff recognized my predicament, and even though my room reservation had been cancelled, and the only room avaiable was a suite that was 3x the rack rate of the room I reserved, they moved me into the more expensive room -- and at a LOWER rate than what Orbitz had quoted for a standard suite. The room was roomy, clean, well stocked, quiet, and comfortable. This was Orbitz's last chance as I have had multiple reservation problems over the years. In the future, I will use them to search for a hotel and rate, but ALWAYS call the property directly."
