The breakfasts were outstanding!!! Chatting w Bill and Michael was so much fun!! The room was beautiful but my husband was looking for place to set up his laptop w/in the room. Didn’t find one. But that was ok. The pocket door in our bathroom was extremely hard for me to slide across in order to use the facility. My husband had to close and open it each time. The inn was absolutely beautiful and was very well maintained. Kudos to Bill and Michael! Have a great winter!!

All the comforts of home in a well run and welcoming charming New England bed and breakfast. Breakfasts were sublime and absolutely delicious . Every morning was another breakfast that wowed our tastebuds. Perfect start to each day. The owners-Mike and Bill were very accommodating and made us feel like family. The entire place was immaculate and decor was beautiful. At breakfast- We enjoyed the view of the yard filled with colorful flowers and friendly birds in the fountain. The atmosphere is lovely and perfect for a couple with nearby restaurants and shopping for all kinds of things. We explored surrounding Maine parks, antique shops, shows and more…and loved to come back each evening to a fresh room. Bed was comfortable and snooze inducing. The fireplace was a wonderful finish to each day. Highly recommend and will return to experience the best of Maine’s hospitality at Elmere Bed and Breakfast.

As repeat visitors, we've always enjoyed the highest quality of service at Elmere House. The home is beautifully decorated and well maintained, with wonderful outside areas for lounging under massive shade trees, relaxing by the firepit, and watching all of the birds make frequent visits to the water fountain and birdseed offerings. Bill and Michael are fabulous hosts and so friendly, and Bentley (their dachshund) is so sweet and welcoming!

Oh my gosh! What a wonderful experience we had staying at Elmere House. This was our first time at a Bed & Breakfast and we could not have picked a more perfect place! Michael and Bill were such gracious hosts. They offered suggestions on entertainment and restaurants in the area. The whole place is just beautifully kept and decorated...inside and out!
