While the property has some shortcomings, I have to praise the staff for their friendly and helpful service. The rooms are dated and in need of renovations. The room lacked A/c and was provided with heater. I was there during a cold snap, and I could feel the wind coming through poorly sealed windows. The location is good and close to the city center and Takina. The price was reasonable.
Very Central, we were lucky as were upgraded. Staff very nice and helpful. Hotel a little old, plain, no amenities. Paint chipping, sink broken, srained carpet, mug was dirty. Good block out curtains, quiet for being so central, bed comfortable. No A/C hut plug in heaters.
Parking $ per hour in front of hotel when available otherwise $35 a day through hotel.
Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Location is great. Very quiet despite being in the centre of the CBD. Good sized 2 bedroom apartment. The kitchen was ok for reheating food.

It's ok for a cheap, no-frills hotel in an excellent location just one or two blocks from the cbd. The worst thing was having to park in Wilsons building with the tightest ramps & corners, and split level terraces that will damage your car if backing in unassisted. Having to carry bags up and down five flights of stairs then walking around the block because the ground floor door nearest the hotel is locked and only allows exit, not entry. Wilson's Parking are greedy mf's painting spaces too small for anything bigger than a small car. My small 4-door just fits between the lines but get your bags out of the boot before reversing in and be prepared to lose some paint on the corners.
The staff were pleasant and attentive but unable to provide much knowledge about parking. Maybe they should walk the ground and become familiar so they can give accurate advice.
Last whinge... put the toilet roll holder somewhere accessible to the person sitting. I took the roll off and left it on the hand rail.
Tired - looks ok on the surface.
Good that you can open a window, but very noisy outside (not the hotel's fault).
My room was right next to the lift which was very noisy and there was a constantly banging door - this alone means I wouldn't stay here again.
Good central location.

Excellent staff, they were very helpful. The cleaners were great! And the room was large.
The property itself is quite dated, there were stains on the carpet, old bathrooms, no air conditioning and noise travels through the walls. There is only one functioning elevator, so it takes quite a while to go up and down. The hotel is good enough, just needs a renovation.
