Staff tried to charge me twice for the room. Staff walked in my room while I was still sleeping without any announcement and I still had an hour left before checkout.

The room had only one chair and it was a computer chair. The elevator had a loud irritating sound as it passed each floor.
Easy to access downtown with plenty of parking. Room was spacious and clean and facility as a whole was well maintained. Nice breakfast in the morning included.

Cobblestone Inn offers a clean, quiet, stay in Waverly. We've been here before, and we will return. The rooms are modern and always very clean. The staff is welcoming, and the breakfast is nice. The hotel is managed well, in an easily accessible area, with close parking.

Heater in room did not work! Turned it on and it shook and rattled and smelled like smoke. Called down but we couldn’t get a comp because we went through Expedia. Never again!!

Won't stay again
Desk clerk gave no info about anything, the keys were not even in a pocket. Had to call and ask for the wifi password. Beds sagged but were soft. Shower didn't work very well. Only one ice machine, in the first floor. Nice frig and small microwave. Only decaf at breakfast, someone forgot to order regular coffee! Breakfast was not good, eggs were dry and flavorless. Sausage was good.
We stayed two nights here for a wedding. Room reservations were mishandled resulting in one couple in our party having to find another place to stay. . Very nice older gentleman who checked us in was overwhelmed with the computer. The foot of our bed was higher than the head and others noticed this as well. Safe, clean place but they could easily step up their game.
I was a tad disappointed that at check in we weren’t provided with the WiFi password and there was nothing in the room either. There was no information available on the tv channels or local establishments. It was just disappointing Maas this is such a small town you should promote the local shops & eateries.
Room was very clean and the hotel staff was very accommodating and pleasant.
They were unable to provide a key for my room (or any other guests) because of issues with their keycard machine. That required the staff to have to walk us to our room to let us in and also meant we couldn't leave without going to the front desk again to be let back in. I felt bad for them because they had been dealing with this for 2 days and were doing the best they could, but it was a big inconvenience.
The locations was convenient but the rooms were noisy being along the main street downtown. Walls were also quite thin, but partly because I was in a room with an adjoining doors between me and the next room.
The breakfast was great. In town for a funeral. Very restful.

When I checked in at the property, the hotel staff didn’t officially mark me in the system. This caused me to be in the records as a “no show”. Needless to say, the hotel staff on the following day gave. A key to my room to a gentleman, as they though my room was vacant. Gentleman came in my room and was shocked to see women’s belongings in the room.
Not to mention this, I was charged a much higher rate than what the hotel was charging directly.
Hotel management stated they would call Expedia to correct the situation and nothing was done to credit my card back for any issues.
