Wir hatten wirklich einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Das beste war aber auch das Zimmer Lindau, toller Blick auf 2 Seiten zum Bodensee, besser ging es wirklich nicht.

The hotel has a fantastic location right on the lake, and the property itself is certainly unique. However, several practical issues affected our stay. The rooms became very stuffy during the hot summer days, and since there is no air conditioning or fan in the room, it was difficult to cool them down at night. The windows also lack mosquito screens, which makes it hard to leave them open for air circulation. There are not many amenities to speak of, although the breakfast and the restaurant overall are very good and priced accordingly. Overall, while the property has a special charm and a beautiful lakeside setting, we felt that it did not offer particularly good value. We stayed for five days because we had a prepaid arrangement; otherwise, we probably would have moved to a different property. It is a unique place, but for us, three days would have been enough.

If you’re looking for a place that feels straight out of a fairytale, Hotel Schloss Wasserburg absolutely delivers. From the moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by stunning scenery, the lake views are unreal, especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s one of those places where you just stop and take it all in. The room was beautifully done, comfortable, clean, and full of charm without feeling over the top. You really get that perfect mix of historic character and modern comfort. And the atmosphere? Peaceful, relaxing, and just the right kind of quiet. The staff made the experience even better, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind without being intrusive. Everything felt easy and well taken care of. And the breakfast… honestly, so good. Who doesnt like fresh Brotchen! This is the kind of place you come to slow down, enjoy the moment, and feel like you found something special. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Didn't live up to expectations

Can't say anything good about this facility. Parking was not readily available. The staff with whom we interacted were not at all welcoming. The restaurant was severely under staffed and the food was meh. There was an event at the hotel one of the nights we were there, and the noise reached the sleeping rooms. The rooms are small and, in one of them, the walls were so slanted that it was not feasible to stand while packing / unpacking items. In searching for a positive, I can say that the restrooms in the lobby area are nice and were very clean.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wie hatten die Engelssuite mit direktem Seeblick gebucht. Direkten Seeblick hat man nur auf der Terrasse. Der Strand könnte etwas schöner gestaltet werden. Ansonsten war alles sehr schön. Wir kommen wieder.

Décoration remarquable car bâtiment ancien. Literie ok mais pas de lit double, petit déjeuner moyen avec des jus de fruits chimique et employés peu aimable. Très calme. Gros point faible, impossible de dormir dans le noir, les rideaux sont littéralement à un mètre de la fenêtre et reposent sur la table donc pas de noir du tout. D’immangeable car le bâtiment est vraiment étonnant
