"A lovely short break in a picturesque village. Staff very friendly and attentive. Restaurant and bar decorated to a high standard and food excellent. Comfortable, accessible room situated very close to bar and restaurant. Onsite parking very convenient.Will be very happy to return. Thank you."

"Great location, lovely hotel. Parking is good, there is a large free car park. The restaurant is good serving great meals. Only bugbear is that the service at breakfast is ok if you've got all day but not great if you want to get a move on. Why aren't you like other hotels where I can help myself to juice and cereal and that will shave 10 - 15 minutes off the time?"

"The Hotel is in a lovely location, right next to the River Thames. The Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The Room was lovely and clean with a great view of the River We stayed at the Hotel for two nights and had Dinner both nights. The Food was really nice and again, service was good. If I was being picky, it would’ve been nice to have had some complimentary Bottled Water in the Room on arrival. I would certainly stay here again and plan to do so in a few months time."

The Red Lion was simply magnificent, the welcome super, pub ambiance super friendly all in all we will be attending and revisiting again The Red Lion is tucked away, just follow the sign as the place does ooz quality, has its own history which is fascinating its just great. "The beds were on the firm side but pretty comfy. We did have issues connecting to the WiFi and there is not a customer service number for after hours. I was able to email but since I didn’t have WiFi it was very spotty and they gave me a generic “did you try to reset the modem.” Otherwise it’s a cute apartment, very quiet neighborhood. Just a walk up the street is some good pizza places and a grocery store. Water pressure was excellent and I appreciated the deep tub. "

"The staff were amazing, incredibly helpful and friendly. They made sure that the gluten free member of our group was catered for at breakfast. The room was clean, and the beds comfy afrer walking the Thames path. I wiuld stay here again in a heartbeat and am thinking of retyrning with my family due to the location and price. "
