"Property is in a nice area, convenient to restaurants and small shops. The grounds are scenic. I asked to move from a parking lot facing room to a room facing the lake and did not mind the $50 upgrade fee that I was told I would be charged however was moved to a room that was blocked by a large tent and did not have a view of the lake,so I requested a second move, which seemed to upset the staff so then I was told that we don’t have rooms that give you a view of the lake?? Because we have a tree line so the lake is blocked! That was absolutely crazy to me cause I could look out the window of the second floor and see a perfectly good view of the lake. I couldn’t help but feel there was some prejudice going on. Also, there is a train that comes through at 5:30 in the morning and then again around 8 AM that is disturbing.Other than that, my day was good. The rooms are a very nice size and comfortable. The custodial staff was excellent and very helpful. They have two EV chargers for which they do not charge you to use. My daughter and I were only there for one as we went for a college visit at Clemson University."

"Decent. Rooms could use a refresh but clean. The hotel was pretty empty when we went but they put us in a room right near the lobby. There were people hanging out in there at night and it was incredibly loud."

"The room was large and there was plenty of space. The phone in our room did not work. The bedroom was really dark, need more lights in there. On the breakfast front, it was OK. I am celiac, so the only thing for me was the yogurt, eggs, fruit. Coffee was great. "

"Large comfortable and quiet rooms with fridge, microwave and breakfast table which is also good to work at. Convenient location just across the street from campus and a reasonable walk to downtown. "
