"From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were really friendly and the hotel itself is situated in a beautiful town with beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely dinner, with complimentary starter, which was delicious. The room was basic (e.g. no tea/coffee making facilities, simple shower) but was clean and comfortable.
Our family enjoyed our stay!"

"The hotel is very nice although a few issues. 1 the lighting in the bathroom is not very good. The light is over the toilet area, the shower is dark, also no light over the basin mirror.
The breakfast is good, plenty to go around. Staff are all very friendly. Parking is insight. The bar is a nice place.
Had 1 evening meal and it was lively."

"Room was modern, clean and well presented. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. As an English speaking visitor, have staff that spoke good English was a great help. Also the WW1 display in the hotel is excellent."

"Unique stay in a very significant historical building. Lovely atmosphere and willing volunteers to show us to our rooms and make us tea/coffee and make us feel welcome. Beautiful house- beautiful chapel and a reminder that kindness is all that matters. A respite during WW1 and still a respite today.
Definitely will return."
