"This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. "Positive. - Staff when we arrived. Very nice. Great explanations. Good recommendations for restaurant. - breakfast is inclused. Limited choice but very good Negative - high level of humidity in the room. - smell of humidity as well as mold - the mattress is really bad. Both of us ended up in the middle. Need to be changed asap - this was the most expensive hotel during our vacation and the worst one. "

"Lovely clean rooms with a nice sized restroom. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Our room included a large outdoor area with table and chairs that our children enjoyed. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating to our requests. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with lots of options for the whole family."

"We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. "The property was nice and breakfast was excellent but the pics shown on Expedia alludes to a hotel that does not exist. The pool is not on the property (you can get a voucher to a pool 300 meters away and that pool looks nothing like the pool in the pics representing this property)> So the property was nice and the service great and the staff very good but you will not get the place these pics represent. "My husband and I had a wonderful time and experience at Casa D'Amares! This villa has exceeded our expectations and we definitely would love to come back again. The rooms, were spacious and clean. The AC unit was great! The staff are super friendly, respectful and welcoming. Isabella was so sweet and kind when she gave us the tour around the villa and helped us answer any questions we had.
