"This place looks like nothing from the road. Probably an farmhouse at one point. They had some nice Christmas lights on the building to cheer it up. They are maybe 5 miles (8 km) west of Vik. The road to town goes up and over, with some switchbacks, so it could be dicey for tourists in the winter if the weather is bad. "Was fortunate enough to be upgraded to a superior room and we would definitely book it again. The room is cozily furnished, spacious, and had a large bathroom. The bedding is comfortable and the toiletries were from L’Occitane. We enjoyed a view of the town but I think a view of the mountains is also available. Breakfast had great variety and plenty of vegetarian options. The hotel is also located some distance from the main road so it’s more secluded and private. "
