"Bar was closed when I was there. Breakfast wasn’t great, service was average. They added a service charge automatically and then asked for a tip as well. Hotel staff were great, hotel had character, great location. Advice: skip the hotel breakfast and go the coffee shop two doors down. Much better"

"We stayed at the Hive for 5 nights. The staff were all very accommodating and professional. The entire hotel was very clean and well maintained. The location is walkable to Georgetown and also the national mall which was convenient. The hotel area is very safe and quiet at night. The rooftop Hive bar was very cool and also having a pizza place on site was great for snacking. Additionally the offsite parking that was available to hotel guest was nicely discounted and in close proximity. All in All we enjoyed our stay at the Hive and would definitely return. Highly recommend."

"My go to hotel when visiting DC. Convenient location on foggy bottom. Walking distance to the metro, restaurants and 2 grocery stores ( rooms have a full kitchen) . Property is always clean and people are friendly. Area is safe and quiet for a large city."
