Rassurée par les notes et les photos je décide de réserver. Quelle ne fut pas ma surprise à l’arrivée dès la réception c’est mal entretenu et pas très propre. Pas de lumière à tous les étages dans les escaliers. Mais le clou du spectacle la chambre avec de la moquette défraîchie, même pas aspirée, aération dans la salle de bain hs, couleur de la tête de lit et des draps assez douteux, porte donnant sur le balcon avec 2 cm nous dirons d’aération mais qui permettent aux moustiques de nous visiter la nuit. Bref passez votre chemin

I left early.... enough said (no refund offered)

the purchase of my own wifi mobile hotspot was best investment ever. without the advantage of awesome high powered wifi, there was no reason to stay. for $7 more a night, you can get a room with a fridge & pool less than 500m away. this hotel is best for those on "golf tours". Not suitable for even the well traveled, local language speakers who are "western looking" There was a clear difference in how guests were treated according to the mood of the staff.

staff lack cultural acuity

the listed claims laundry service, at appears to have a self-service laundry for the dormitory off one floor. Its not clear who has access to this area. When asked, i was told that they "send out for laundry BUT YOU can find your own". This was very inconvenient to seek out laundry service, especially when I saw it was provided for other guests. Owner of hotel is nosy and will gossip about you with local merchants. My husband walked up & saw/overheard one such gossip session. I brought my teacups down to breakfast, since cups at breakfast are so small. I brought my own tea. Cups were not cleaned & returned to room. When I requested the cups to be returned, only one cup was returned to the room. After I left, there was insinuations that I had stolen the other cup (that had NOT been returned to the room). When I entered that room, it had one pink & one white cup. Only the white cup was returned. The other white cup - ACTUALLY DOES have my name on it. see photo. Also, I did request laundry service on 2 days in this booking. The first time, the sheets were changed, I woke up itchy. I had to get cream to put on the beginnings of "backpacker rash". I had the room serviced again that day. The next set of sheets didn't leave us itchy the next morning. Kitchen only offers MSG, not salt. I bought my own salt, and accidentally left it at the table. They acted like I was stealing it when I fetched it back. bookings were non-refundable.

lots of street noise at all hours. room had moldy/musty smell. staff doesn't know how to clean a room with grace, so I didn't want room service. breakfast is just an egg, bread, some old fruit and small serving of sausage.

great wifi in this room 405

overpowering musty/moldy smell.. lots of street noise ALL night. No Smoke smells from other rooms. wifi signal very strong as this room was next to the wifi router. couldn't hear other rooms -- much. despite not being super happy with this place, I extended primarily for the wifi. breakfast is simple, not a buffet. an egg, two slices of break, dried/old "fresh fruit" and one tiny sausage link cut into pieces - kitchen uses MSG, not salt.

meh, I came back for the wifi

I had prepaid for two nights, knew that I would arrive early in the morning. however, I didn't have a room immediately available. At first, hotel was going to put me on 4th floor, then, decided to put me on second floor, but I had to wait nearly 3 hours for the room to be cleaned. I was in room 201. No street noises in the night, however, there were smokers. The airflow brings any smoke from the dormitory rooms into room 201. this interrupted my sleep. not sure of wifi strength in this room. breakfast was filling, but simple. not a buffet.

３月はかなり暑く、汗を流したかったので、早めにチェックインを希望しました。問題なく受け付けしてくれました。 部屋の広さは問題ありませんが、冷蔵庫がなくて、飲み物などを冷やすことができませんでした。 あと、エアコンのリモコンもしくは本体の不備なのかわかりませんが、反応が悪くて困りました。 それ以外は問題ありません。

Worth having

The hotel is well located and convenient in the city centre. The room is clean and clean, and the breakfast in the hotel is very good. Vienna Hotel is a good choice if you have friends to visit Vientiane.

Very good location, close to everything. Staff spoke English so there were no communication problems. We arrived in the early morning, they prepared a room for us and we could do early check-in for free. The room was very quiet. Darts and Football table in common area. You can also have a lao beer at the chairs ourside or relaxing areas. We enjoyed our time in Central Vienna Hostel! Thanks everyone!
