Cedarwood Inn & Suites is a great place to stay whiich is very close to downtown Sydney, close to the airport, close to the highway 17 to Victoria and up island, I highly recommend Cedarwood Inn & Suites as a great place to stay well visiting the Victoria area

Cedarwood is an older hotel within walking distance of downtown Sidney. Directly across the street is a walking path to Sidney with a park, sand volleyball court and an arts centre. The decor in the hotel is dated, however that leads to the charm. Love staying there snd will again when in the victoria area

Beautiful views of the sea. Right on the bus line which was perfect for those not wanting to rent a car. Walk right to Beacon Street and enjoy the shops of Sidney or take a straight shot bus right to downtown Victoria. Was extremely appreciative of their pet-friendly policies. Will def be back!

Bed was ok for comfort. Slept good. Nice hot water when needed, but shower could have had more force. An excellent place. Very clean. Nice views on 2nd level. Spacious rooms.

Greeted with a big friendly hello there! The beautiful ocean breeze with the scent of salt water hits you as soon as you step out of your vehicle. Ocean view! Picnic table, bbq, fully equipped room. Super comfortable, quiet. Loved it

We like the quiet and it’s close to the beach and the shops in Sidney. Suites are clean and comfortable. We like having a fridge and oven so that we can cook easy meals. Netflix on TV was nice at night. The garden was rather rugged but probably due to water restrictions. They were doing a lot of gardening on the day we left. I hope they can refill the planters. Also we could have put dog with us. We’ve stayed here before and will again.

Nice view of the water and conveniently close (just across the busy street) The place was very tired looking and my clothes smelled from the mold. If it was the winter I couldn't open the windows it could have been a lot worse. Only excuse I can come up with is it was a designated dog suite, but my dog is cleaner than the place for sure. Snot dried onto a face towel was gross. You were expected to do your dishes before checking out.... Redeeming factor was the front desk staff were lovely.
