Very swish establishment, great central location, restaurant adequate but best to eat out to get the best of local cuisine. Breakfast filling but coffee and orange juice a bit lacking in taste.

I had a fantastic experience. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff I’ve encountered was always pleasant. The young lady that checked me in was very professional and extremely sweet, and she’s a great ambassador of yours. The food at the restaurant was delicious too, and the Spa circuit was nice. Viana is such a beautiful place. I loved going to the Monte of St. Luzia, which has breathtaking views of the river and the ocean; it’s fantastic! The only thing that needs attention is the carpets which are not bad by any means, but the normal wear and tear is noticeable. I want to come back to this property. My experience was fantastic! Thank you!

Everything was perfect and 4 Stars except one thing. I should not have to get up from the pool or outdoor patio to find a cocktail or snack. A server should be visible and available every 10/15 minutes. I am on business or vacation and should not have to work to spend money.

You must book this place for so many reasons...
All about this hotel is awesome! Spacious, modern and clean room and bathroom! All rooms have a wide wall-to-wall view either to the street or pool side. Internet works perfectly everywhere you use it around the hotel. They have a tasty and wide buffet at a very affordable price for breakfast, lunch and dinner with wine included. Bar are is also very nice to have a drink while watching a soccer game, tennis match or whatever you feel like to. People are extremely helpful and nice as well. The only thing I may mention to Manager would be pool's temperature, which was cold even when weather was around 33C. Also, it's very easy to get there from the train station, 28 minute walk! It was a great surprise finding this hotel at this Portugal's city! Ahhhhhh, and do I forget to mention their in-site SPA?

Nice hotel but need to focus a bit more on service
Nice hotel but a few niggles. Beds are REALLY hard. I had to double up the duvet and lie on it to soft it s little bit. Asked for an iron and board but was only able to have an iron and was told to iron on the floor. No room service menu left in room, no channel list plus there never seemed to be anyone manning the bar in reception so it was difficult to get a water or a coffee. I'm sure they were losing out on a bit of money here.

Business style hotel on the outskirts of town
The hotel was pretty quiet when I stayed. The internet wasn't working for the night I was there and only became available around 9:30 the following day. This is a big problem for a business hotel. It's about 1km from the centre of town, so quite a walk if you want to There was only a buffet dinner available at the hotel (no a la carte), with only 2 main courses to choose from, which was a bit limiting. Reasonable choice of starters and desserts, plus a soup It was, however, quite good value, as it included wine (refilled when required). Overall, the hotel was fine for my purposes, although the lack of internet for the evening was a bit of an issue.

Overall the hotel met our expectations - friendly staff, clean, safe, good size and easy to park. It would have been nice to have a patio or been able to open a window. The decor of the hotel and room was a bit dark for our tastes, with not enough light in the guestroom and bathroom.

Decor is very minimalist. Lighting in the rooms was too dark. An option of brighter lighting in the bedroom would be good. Limited tv channels. Room was comfortable and bathroom spacious. More suited to business than holiday. Didn't use the bar, as we never saw anyone there. Plenty of space around a good outdoor pool. Spa was good but take a swimming hat. Didn't use the gym but this had plenty of equipment and was well staffed. Hotel was just about walking distance to the centre and restaurants but a taxi is better. Breakfast good although same every day. No choices which you would expect at the price. Would probably stay nearer the centre next time.
