Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort

"Jiminy Peak is located in an absolutely beatiful location in the Berkshires. And it has fun family-friendly summertime activities. But it could use some sprucing up. The pool liner is a little wrinkly and the hot tub is quite stained near the water line. In addition, our room had a nice 2-foot gouge in the wall seemingly caused by the corner of the armchair beneath it. It seems that could/should have been repaired before out arrival. And the dated counertops and fixtures are showing their age. That said, so am I! On the plus side: the iconic scenery, the friendly helpful staff, and the amenities. All in all, a good value for a family getaway. I would definitely recommend the prolerty overall."

"Conveniently located. Unfortunately, they were renovating the breakfast area. We had to eat in the lobby, which was fine. Will look forward to when it is finished for next year's stay. Staff is helpful and friendly and rooms are clean."

"Nice quite place to stay the night. No second floor, so there was no chance of being disturbed by people walking above you. Clean room, including the bathroom. I liked that it had a mini fridge so we could put food in it that we brought with us. There was also a separate freezer where I refroze my ice packs over night. Very handy. I didn't have any food to reheat, but if I had, the microwave would have come in handy. I did use the coffee pot for coffee in the morning. I took off a star because honestly, the bed could have been better. It creaked when you moved, and the mattress was kinda hard. My daughter thought the same. I slept on top of the comforter so I had more cushioning. I was tired, so I slept about 10 solid hours, then woke up to my back hurting a lot. I got up and took tylenol, and moving around making coffee helped relieve the stiffness in my back. The proprietors were nice people. I guess the motel is owned by a family. The price for the room was fair for my small travel budget. Overall I would recommend this motel for a short stay. Just bring a mattress topper if you have one, and maybe extra soft blankets to sleep on."

"Absolutely lovely place. The room we were in was comfortable, clean and attractive the only negative was an absurd amount of light shining in the room with curtains drawn from bright lights in the parking lot. Breakfast could use a little more attention."
