  • This tiny surfing village in Norway has a population of 15. Surfers flock from all over the world to surf in this perfect wave condition. It is cold but the hardy do not seem to mind. On this particular evening the sky erupted in #green. I braved the frigid water as it reflected back onto the beach. The tide was rising rapidly but I was mesmerized by the #green lights of the sky dancing over my head. I could see the Milky Way, it was a wonderful discovery. If you happen to be in Northern Norway, it is worth a visit. #greenphotos

Had the best stay at Lofoten Basecamp! Staff is super friendly and accommodating and the property, rooms and views are just beautiful. Sauna is an added bonus! And the fact that one of the area’s best hikes starts right from the parking lot was an unexpected surprise!

We didn’t have any trouble with the freeway noise, we can hear cars go by, but didn’t bother our sleep cycle. Nice views, friendly staff, great locations to many hiking trails around!!

We had an amazing stay at Lofoten Basecamp! Charming rooms, clean and quaint. Very friendly staff. Electric vehicle charging on site, fast and easy to use/find. Hiking trails nearby. Tunnel construction nearby was manageable with scheduled crossing times each hour. We will definitely stay here again! The sauna was a cool perk

Comfortable beds, very clean and cozy. We decided to upgrade to a cabin after the first night in the twin room. The twin rooms are well equipped (coffee maker, coffee pods, microwave, utensils, dishes, mini fridge). We wanted more space, a freezer and washer so we moved to a cabin that was great. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
