Wonderful family owned hotel

Wonderful hotel. Kitchens too!! Nice owners very welcoming. We had 3 beds for larger family and another room with one bed both rolls had full kitchens and very nice!! Great location too.

I love this motel. I work in the area a lot but this is the first time I’ve stayed here. Two weeks and such a comfortable stay. The best part is the full kitchen. I’ve been working on the road and living out of hotels for 3 years straight and it’s such a blessing to be able to cook in a full kitchen. I’ve stayed in many extended stay type hotels but all you normally get is a stovetop. Here I have an oven and can get more creative with my meals! The staff is excellent. Ravi and his family are very helpful and accommodating! Five stars!

Viking Motel is a great place to stay when visiting Ventura. Their cleanliness is unique in motels. Soft and very comfortable bedding made me sleep like a baby after long drive. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Huge plus is that full kitchen and fridge w/freezer. This is a perfect spot for families with kids too since their rooms are spacious.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. We called ahead to say we would be arriving late. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and kind. Our room was very clean and spacious. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was quite cute and well supplied. The room was quiet and we didn’t hear any noise. Our room looked out over a garden store and it was very pretty. My only suggestion for improvement would be a new mattress. We had 2 queen beds. One was good and the other was very saggy and worn out on one half. Otherwise, it was a very good stay and we were happy.

Vikings Motel is great!

Checked in and got to the room and couldn’t believe how amazing it was for the price. Everything was clean and tidy and the bed was actually pretty comfortable. The smoke detector had that beep every so often and I alerted the front office and they replaced it with a brand new one. Overall a very good experience.

Clean rooms

The staff is friendly and helpful and the room was VERY CLEAN! We were surprised with how happy we were based on the area. If you are looking for a low cost option we recommend this because they even have kitchens.
