Really cool old place. The only downside it was the incredible amount of stairs. I'm so thankful that I only packed a carry on, I can't imagine going up there with full size suitcase. Other than that it's a location was awesome!

Clean hotel, in a decent location - difficult to initially locate as main entrance closed for building work. People in room 20 VERY VERY NOISY from 19:00pm until 4:00AM! No reception staff available to report concerns to after 8pm.

Staff was very accommodating and helpful. They were patient and trusting with us when we forgot cash for the tax payment and let us know we could pay later. They would bring fresh towels daily and allowed us to store our luggage if we arrived before check-in time. Rooms were small but cozy. My favorite part though was how close we were to the heart of the city. Everything was less than 10 min walk away! Highly recommend visiting San Maurizio Hotel

Beautiful junior suite we felt we were staying in a castle bedroom. My daughter felt like a Princess. Beautiful gold headboard and beautiful walls. The view from the room was beautiful. It was Very clean We had all we needed. Close to everything all walking distance.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Residenza San Maurizio. The location is fantastic, situated on a lovely quiet street but within easy walking distance of St Mark’s Square, the canals and many of Venice’s main attractions. It was an excellent base for exploring the city on foot. The room was comfortable, clean and the hotel has plenty of Venetian character, which added to the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall we had a very pleasant stay. There are a couple of things worth knowing before booking. There is no lift, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. Our room, number 23, also had a door that took a little knack to open, although once we figured it out it wasn’t really a problem. The only real criticism we had was the shower over the bath. It was positioned quite low, so it wasn’t particularly practical for an adult to shower underneath, and there was no shower curtain, which made showering a little awkward. That said, these are relatively minor points and didn’t spoil our stay. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it as a great base for exploring Venice. 🇮🇹❤️ Try touching the walls!!

Amazing place, our room was originally decorated. Venetian chandelier, furniture, wallpaper! We feel like royals! Best location possible. Our triple room was huge, as well as bathroom, and had 2 beautiful balconies and the most important air conditioner that works so good! Rare stuff for Italy. We saved this please to return in the future.
