Our room at Casa Villa Gardenia was clean and quiet. The breakfast offered in the morning was good with a variety of options. There is a coffee machine that is capable of making multiple types of good coffee variations. The parking lot for the hotel was also secure with a gate surrounding the entire hotel area. The hotel was a great stay and conveniently located next to the Durando bus stop (line 6) to make the trip to main island of Venezia.

This property in Mestre is very close to the train station and you are one stop to Santa Lucia station on the Grand Canal of Venice. If you are traveling by car, the property offers gated parking( a great find) and nice rooms with a good breakfast included daily. Some staff do not speak much English so be prepared to use your google translate😉 but we have stayed there on two different trips and would recommend this property.

This is a such a lovely hotel! Very clean, cute, and the staff are very helpful. The neighborhood around is not the best but the hotel is great with security and a bus stop is right across the street.

We chose this property because of the location, easy access to the train station and parking which did not dissapoint. But upon our arrival we saw a mouse at the lobby and it is an old building with a weird smell.

The room was nice and comfortable. The staff was very appreciative of us staying there. It was in easy walking distance to buses to go into Venice. Parking was gated which was unexpected and put us at ease. The hostess was very friendly and informative of where to catch buses. All in all very nice.

The Villa is an excellent location for touring Venice. Only a 5-10 minute walk from the train station for the short ride to Central Station/Santa Lucia. The room is very nice and the staff is excellent. Parking is available - and free- right on the property. Highly recommended>

The staff was very friendly but the location was hard to find off the street in Venice for us. It was our first time driving in Venice so that could have been part of the issue but I think better signage out front would help guests find the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The property itself is nice and the staff are very helpful. It’s just in a terrible area that seems very unsafe, broken down, old. It’s very near the train so that makes it perfect. Otherwise, I would never go into that area-it seems scary.

Ordered deluxe room but got a tiny small room. Plus for parking. Left early and got a little breakfast before the ordinary breakfast started. Easy access to Venezia, 5 mins walk to train and 10 mins with train.

We stayed at this property for one night before and one night after our cruise. It is somewhat isolated but don't let the location fool you. The staff and the accommodations were great. This property is an intimate, BnB type place. The owner was friendly and informative. The daily breakfast options were very good. The train station is a couple of blocks away from the property and it was less than 15 min to Venice. Highly recommend.

The property was lively and comfortable and just a short walk to the train station for Venice one stop away. The staff was excellent and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We were offered cappuccino on arrival and the room had a small refrigerator stocked with drinks and an electric kettle with coffees and teas. There is no air conditioning but in early June,it was comfortable. Complimentary parking in a secure gate is included at no cost- a big plus for this area!! We were able to leave our car and luggage for our day of check out to enjoy a bit more of Venice. Nice people,nice small boutique hotel,great location !

Very average hotel

The hotel is now in a different condition to the pictures. We felt the area was a bit unsafe to walk around, and the restaurants nearby were not the best. The hotel staff were excellent and the room was clean. The wifi was very hit and miss. The location to the train station that takes you into Venice was about a 10 minute walk using the underpass, again dirty and felt unsafe. Would we stay there again, probably not.

The hotel has a large parking Rea inside, which is not easy in the area. The hotel sraff is very friendly, clean and high quality breakfast. It is absolutely outstanding.
