Avid is a relatively new property. We’ve now stayed there twice.the rooms are streamlined with everything one needs, yet done efficiently and simply. Some of the innovations include hooks on walls in the room with are incredibly handy. The breakfast is ample and the seating area is part of the lobby. Simple and efficient. We really like the hotel and would stayagain

The room was small. No enclosed closet or coffee maker in the room. Bathroom light was motion activated so kept going off while I was in the shower. Had to keep opening the shower door to turn the light on -4 times. Air conditioning was either too cold or not cold enough. More light in the room than I like. Bed was fairly comfortable. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was typical.

The breakfast was below average. The temperature of the sausage patties, eggs and potatoes were lukewarm. I read previous reviews raving about Avid’s breakfast before making my reservation. Yes, this place has a modern vibe and is cleaner compared to most other hotels. Skip the free breakfast, not worth it. The room A/C will drive you nuts, seems to shut off every couple of hours. No posted A/C instructions provided. I have had many hundreds of hotel stays due to my career across the states. Never had such a A/C experience.
