"I was running the Amsterdam Marathon and this hotel is literally over the road from the start/ finish line. They had a 5am breakfast on race day too, and while I had to pay for a late checkout it was the perfect location. Staff were extremely friendly too"

"From the moment we checked in the staff have been faultless, great English, extremely helpful and friendly. Stayed here in order to run the Amsterdam marathon and the experience has been great. Ordered pizzas for dinner here and they were delightful! Freshly made, packed with flavour and delicious! The room was compact but had EVERYTHING you could need, innovative tech made the rooms fun and meant you could control everything seamlessly! Really enjoyed my stay here "

"Lovely boutique hotel in a nice quiet residential area in south. Easy walking distance to van gogh and reijksmyseum. Nice bistro and bar, and bar staff very pleasant. Early check in was not available on arrival - and they did notify me that this might happen prior to arrival -so maybe book for day before if coming long distance. Having said that I had a lovely nap in a quiet corner of the bar and when I awoke the maitre d provided a delicious espresso."

"Extremely friendly staff - will definitely stay there again. There is a lot of construction going on in the area around right now - but that should be done soon. Very convenient across from the train station - but not directly across... safe, secure, and a functionally designed room + a good working desk with a normal chair. They need to show the desk better in the photo... the Motel One on the other side of the Ra has a comfortable stool with no back and a very small desk. I hope we are there for the week next year vs. just an overage day. Both places very nice / good staff... but Qbic wins for a brighter, better energy room and a desk you can more comfortably work at... just having a normal chair to sit in while working makes a huge difference. "
