"Hotel advertised pet friendly but when we arrived it was 30 dollars per pet seemed high but we didn’t have time to look for better the rest was good but could tell the hotel was old they were trying to upgrade but would be better to close down and remodel whole hotel"

Hotel Maverick
10/10 Excellent
"Everything is wonderful at this hotel. It could be improved by having bathrobes in the rooms. Unfortunately we were unprepared for that"
WoodSpring Suites Grand Junction
8/10 Good
"Ok so the hotel is ten years old, great rate, almost European in stripped down but very functional where it matters. 32 tries on the door card, that gets old. Clean bed, bi weekly housekeeping, worlds coldest fridge and air conditioner. No ice, no humans except super friendly front desk people. Banquet chair but free Internet, no art on the walls. Semi rough guests, they appreciate the rate, but the kinda folks who spend more time in the parking lot working on their junk cars than in the rooms. Micro/induction stove and less than zero silverware/pot/pan, pretty funny when guests are walking the floors to 'borrow a fork'. It's no motel, 4 floors, elevator, you could do a LOT worse these days as hotels are insane in their daily rates. Clayton /front desk, great guy. Easy to find hotel, not in Fruita. I worked nine years for Hyatt, Princess Cruise lines, opened two hotels 'back in the day'. God help you if the elevator stalls, eat well before boarding! No humans 'cept the check in dude."
