Absolutely amazing

We stayed just 2 nights at the Jodha Bai Retreat but wished we had stayed longer. The love, care and hard work that Cliff and Susan have put into making the Retreat a special haven shines through. The service provided by them was warm and friendly and the quality of the fittings and furnishings outstanding. We will definitely be going back.

Nowhere better ...ever!

Honestly the best place we have ever stayed! Just a pity there is not a 6 star option because we would give this 7:) Susan and Cliff are outstanding hosts. Friendly, knowledgable, hospitable and most of all kind! It is really difficult to capture Jodhai Bai in a few words. It is a place of beauty and serenity and peace. The very walls and pillars welcome you like an old friend. The accommodation is of such a high standard - beautifully decorated and prepared by the couple. You feel their influence and welcome in every room and every nook and cranny. It was our favourite place in Australia and we travelled a lot. Susan and Cliff we cannot thank you enough for eveything. We loved meeting you both and your amazing children and as you know we had a ball.

This is the place to stay!!! The hosts make you feel so welcome from the moment you arrive to the time you (sadly) leave. The attention to detail is outstanding in the beautiful place they have created - definitely earned all the stars, would stay again and again.

Absolutely amazing weekend getaway. Exquisite architecture everywhere you looked. The suite was beautiful, clean, comfortable and warm (it was very chilly outside), plus the food and drinks were amazing. But, what really made the stay were our hosts, Cliff and Susan. Beautiful people. Highly recommend for that special getaway to relax and unwind.

Magic place for a romantic holiday

Very special place, won’t find anything like this anywhere in Australia, very unique. Room had everything we needed, was comfortable spotless & very private. Views were magic. Cliff & Susan were fantastic hosts & made us feel very welcome & spoilt. Dinner & breakfast package was excellent would recommend. We were sad to leave.

The Retreat was so incredible. The host were so welcoming and accommodating. Everything in the bungalow was top of the range and cleanliness was impeccable. I can't recommend this enough.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. If I could rate 6 stars this would be the one. A truely hidden gem filled with all the luxuries, from a beautiful Indian palace inspired Bungalow to incredible hosts who will make you feel like royalty. If you are looking for a unique Romantic getaway, then look no further. Thank you so much, can’t wait to return!

A unique experience in a beautiful setting with amazing views of the coast and mountains, and wonderful hosts who go the extra mile. Thoughtful attention to detail - loved the warm welcome, the complimentary drinks and snacks, the wine recommendation and the delicious big breakfast! The fireplace was also a treat and added to the cosy vibe of the bungalow. Wish I had known about the full luxury package in advance!
