"I had a really great stay at Villa Maïa in Lyon. The hotel sits up on Fourvière Hill, so the views over the city are absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning and at sunset. "Part Deux at the InterContinental is a beautiful hotel set within a stunning historic building that has been very tastefully restored. Check-in was excellent and the rooms were lovely, making for a great first impression. The main downside was the facilities, which felt limited for this level of hotel — a pool or jacuzzi would have made a big difference. "The rooms were ok pretty clean but for being so new already had grout missing in the tile. If you are staying for a rugby match 10/10 on location. If there for the city and you do not have a car it is not an ideal location. Luckily we had a rental car so it was perfect for us."

"We loved our stay at Hotel du Theatre! Reception staff Esther and Louis were wonderful, breakfast just what we needed, location was excellent and we would definitely recommend this hotel.
