We did not have a reservation, but got a room for 3 of us. We were on the top floor and had to climb the stairs but it worked for us.
There wasn't any other place to eat so we ate in our hotel. It was fabulous. A 4 star dinner in a 4 star hotel. For dessert my husband and son choose- cheese. Out came a cart of 12 cheeses to choose from. It was a memorable dinner.
Very nice place, extremely friendly staff and a gourmet restaurant of the highest caliber.
Breakfast was very delicate and tasty, without any of the usual cold cuts. Fresh croissant, very good cheese, nothing out of place.
Highly recommended without any hesitation.
Summer may not be the best time to stay here. There is absolutely NOTHING to do. Of course the views are spectacular. One of the main reasons we chose this location was because it was a good middle point between Lucerne and Innsbruck, AND everyone talked up the Michelin rated restaurant. Turns out it wasn't open (closed on Monday and Tuesday) and the only open restaurant was one town over with ridiculous prices/marginal quality. The room slept 3 comfortably but was stifling hot with no room fan and one window. Breakfast was a small taste of what dinner would've been, as the jams were homemade and delicious!
My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Todi for 3 nights. It was a really lovely hotel, the staff were excellent; although their limited English and our limited German was a bit difficult at times. But this is not their fault! We found that a lot of the locals spoke little English so we relied heavily on our phrase book! That said, it was nice to get a way from it all. The hotel is in Trun which is a very small town with not a lot going on, but the towns near by are bigger with more restaurants. We went for the tranquillity, the walking and the amazing Vals spa (20 minutes away) so we were very happy. Our room was very nice, they upgraded us from a basic to a more expensive one for no reason-probably just because they were quiet. This was a nice surprise and for no extra charge. We had a lovely view of mountains and the hotels own vegetable garden out of our window. At first we were worried about the noise from outside as the only road does go past the hotel. But the triple glazed windows and wooden shutters saw to that! Another plus has to be the restaurant in the hotel. They served the most amazing food! Most of it was locally sourced and cooked to perfection. The waitress was happy to explain the menu as we didn't know what a lot of it was! The chef even came out to see if we enjoyed it. A wonderful stay in a lovely hotel.

Personen 128.- !!!!
Mussten leider vorzeitig abreisen, Eigentümer sehr kulant
