"We had such a wonderful experience at the Kimpton Brice Savannah with our Bernese Mountain dog. The hotel is dog friendly and it made our experience even better. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The food at the restaurant was delicious and very friendly to people with dietary restrictions. The location is great - we walked everywhere and our dog enjoyed the surrounding parks. We Will definitely stay here again."
Aloft by Marriott Savannah Downtown Historic District
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful time it was our first time staying at Aloft. We will definitely be back. The staff was completely professional and were wonderful with everything we asked or if we needed directions. The bartender was out of this world, enjoyed our conversation with her and her drinks were great."
"Good a/c and great location. We prefer the charm of historic buildings, and the place has loads of character. Bits of chipped paint and dents in walls can be overlooked. Did not like the shower curtain liner’s mold spots or the paint flecks on the bathroom floors, which indicated a gap in housekeeping/maintenance."
"Lobby is well maintained with beautiful art from SCAD. Rooms do not have the amenities compared to other hotels such as refrigerator and/or microwave. Vending rooms only had ice machine and trash cans filled, not empty. There is only 1 microwave for the entire hotel in the lobby. Fitness room is outside near the pool. If it rains or storms, you can't work out or have to walk through the storm. Great historical site but not convenient for the average traveler. Coffee shops and restaurants are great and within walking distance. Parking too expensive, more than the Marriott. They add an amenities fee with no amenities to charge. There is one in house restaurant and bar with coffee shop (closes early). No room service."
SpringHill Suites Savannah Downtown / Historic District
6/10 Okay
"The concierge were extremely friendly and would go out of their way to greet you and offer assistance, however, not all of the front desk staff are friendly.
We were there for my nieces graduation and it was pouring rain, we asked if we could borrow an umbrella and were told that they don't loan them out but they do have some for sale. We asked if we could store our luggage since we had a lot of time between checking out and our flight, and again, we were told we could store our luggage for a fee of $10 per piece. We did speak to the manger and the fee was waved. Overall the hotel was clean and had a decent breakfast."
