"If I had to find one negative about this hotel, it is that the rooms are small. but that's it. The village where it's located is lovely. It is very convenient for commute into Glasgow. The hotel is very well looked after, and clean. The staff are fantastic. But, the restaurant. Well ... The restaurant at this hotel is worth travelling to just to eat here. EVERY THING on the menu is fantastic. I've come back many times to this hotel and tried almost everything. I cannot rate it highly enough. Never a bad experience. You will not regret staying at this hote."

"I wouldn't recommend room 101 purley because it was next to some doors which bang everytime they are used. Room was spacious. Bathroom large, with powerful shower over the bath. Toilet paper was very thin! Breakfast was nice and good quality."

"We had a great stay. Such a beautiful location and the hotel was tastefully refurbished since our last visit. The room was superficially clean and I may be picky but it could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom and toilet. The staff, particularly the restaurant staff, were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast choices were great though it would have been helpful to have the buffet items labelled so that we knew what we were choosing! Dinner was excellent each evening we ate there."
