Nice hotel
Nice hotel beside the sea. Great breakfast. But don't have a beef for maincourse for dinner there. Not so satisfy with the dinner at a la cart restuarant.

Rooms are clean with a good view from the hotel. A lot of restaurants in walking distance. Bus facility directly from/to the airport. Public transportation to/from hotel is good

This hotel is very conveniently located in Tromso city center. It is just walking distance from everything in town. Also, the breakfast was amazing. 10/10 recommend.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, avec une superbe vue. Les différents points de départ pour les excursions sont en général à 5minutes max à pieds.Le petit déjeuner est bien fourni avec beaucoup de choix. Les chambres sont propres et grandes.

Nice hotel, a little bit in the expensive side but the location is perfect. We got the sea view and it’s worth it except for the big ship parked in front of the view.

Great location for exploring the town and bus transportation. The ink6 negative was the long line at check-in when a tour bus arrived.

We stayed in Scandic Ishavshotel for 3nights? This hotel does not provide slipper , tissue box, tooth brush and tooth paste. The shower area is too small. Overall, we have a pleasant stay in Tromso and the location is excellent.

The hotel location is great, super close to all the activities, most buses stops right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was ok but not amazing, dinner buffet was not good. Staff was not very helpful, we could not check in early and hotel was not able to let us know when the room was ready. I lost my kindle in the hotel, also I immediately rang the hotel, nobody could help me until the next day, and sadly they did not find my kindle. It is such a shame because the hotel is in an amazing place but they need a management refresh.

Fab hotel. Fantastic location right on harbour front and shops and restaurants just a few minutes walk away. Great views from hotel. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Very good, pleasant modern hotel. Only thing to improve on was milk in rooms for tea. Otherwise all was excellent.

The staff was exceptional. The only reason for the 4 star under staff and service is because of the restaurant menu. The buffet was very good, but rather expensive. The regular a la carte menu was lacking in choices. Having said that, the items we did try were very good.

We had a great view on the water and it was amazing. The buffet is amazing and it is a good way to try norwegian food: fishcake, meatballs, paté, herring, salmon… if you have a chance to talk to the Chef, please do! He was full of info on Norwegian food and traditions! Everything is close by in Tromso, but we did use public transit with the app. And the restaurant back section offers a good view on the Pust Spa where you see some people dipping in the water :-). — we went and I was glad the hotel was close by!

My room had an excellent view over the harbor so that I was able to see many different kinds of ship coming and going. This gave a special perspective to the life of Tromso going on outside the tourist traps

Sehr unfreundliches Personal, nicht kundenorientiert… der Gast wird eher als lästig empfunden und keinesfalls wie ein König behandelt. Frühstücksbuffet wird bereits 15 Minuten vor offiziellem Ende begonnen abzuräumen und gemütlich länger zu sitzen wurde allerhöchstens mit grimmiger Miene toleriert. Ein late-check-out konnte nicht im Vorfeld geklärt werden, sondern erst am Abreisetag. Ein Entgegenkommen des Hotels aufgrund meiner Teilnahme am Polarnight-Marathon und gerne im Vorfeld geregelter Duschmöglichkeit gab es nicht, so dass ich tatsächlich ungeduscht den Heimflug antreten musste (andere Rückflugmöglichkeit außer am Renntag selbst gab es wegen Ferienende nicht).

It was underwhelming. Not enough front desk staff or space to handle groups, making the entrance crowded just to enter / leave the hotel and causing long lines if you needed to check in. Rooms not ready until well after 3p and more than 1 had an unpleasant smell. Front desk couldn't find our laundry days after we had dropped it off, causing us to wait for multiple hours before we could leave. Rooms (other than odor) and breakfast were fine.

Next to the harbor and cruise docks, as well as pedestrian streets, the hotel is clean and convenient. The staff is friendly too, which is better than average we experienced in Norway.

Our hotel room was very spacious and we were given the room with the water views. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is roughly 5-10mins walk to the main shopping street. The hotel is also the main pick up location for many tours (many tours also pick up from the nearby bar or Radisson Blu hotel next door). The airport express bus also stops right outside the hotel. So location is definitely the best! The only drawback is the breakfast can get very busy but if you are early, this shouldn’t be a problem.

Perfekte Lage des Hotels, Zimmer sind schön, allerdings sind ein paar Einrichtungsgegenstände abgelebt, wie zum Beispiel der Wasserkocher. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig und lecker . Die Warmspeisen sind aber meistens schon lauwarm - kalt.
