"The room was very clean with all the amenities & new towels. View was great with nice walking trail to the beach. My only recommendation is to get rid of the fragrant soap or dryer sheets used when washing the sheets/towels. For someone who’s hyper sensitive to smells, it made my mouth and tongue numb. This is usually because someone has used a “ fragrance plug-in” but I couldn’t find one, so I assume it was in the soaps or dryer sheets. It was possibly in the cleaning materials used. Recommend this place."

"Wonderful view! Nice, roomy unit. Two issues. 1. Couldn’t figure out how to use the tv. Searching said no channels found. 2. Unit description online showed “kitchen”. There was a little fridge in the room with a microwave on top. That’s not a kitchen."

"A Charming Boutique Gem in Homer Moosetide Hotel is a beautifully renovated boutique property that feels brand new from top to bottom. The location is excellent, the design is thoughtful and full of character, and the owners go above and beyond to make every guest feel at home. We only stayed one night but it was enough to know we’ll be back. Homer is a special destination, and Moosetide makes it even better. Whether you’re there for the fishing, wildlife, or just to soak in the scenery, this is the place to stay. Already planning our return trip and will absolutely be booking here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Homer area."

"We had an awesome stay in Homer at the Pioneer Inn. The room perfectly suited our needs and Lila & Paula were amazing. Very responsive to questions and checking in to assure our stay was satisfactory. Also, I tweeked my knee, because you know, walking is hard :). They drove me to the medical center to get it checked out, and came back to pick me up afterward. They also helped me to find a knee brace in town. I would definitely stay at the Pioneer Inn when in Homer again."

"This apartment was the best I have ever rented. It had everything you could think of. Very clean, and organized. Easy to find. Even had a moose at the place when we got here. In a very wooded lot with a lake, hard to see lake. Very quiet too."
