A hidden paradise!!

We discovered a hidden paradise!! The property is incredible, more than we expected. Views were out of this world and the road leading to this property was a great surprise. Staff were exceptionally friendly, Katia’s hospitality was immense. Thank you for this great experience.

Wichtig vorab: Das Hotel/Bed and Breakfast und Team ansich sind super. Unsere Bewertung von 3 von 5 Sternen bezieht sich explizit auf unser Ziel mit dem Urlaub in einer möglichst ruhigen Umgebung einen Entspannungsurlaub zu haben. Insbesondere aufgrund der lückenhaften Beschreibung online haben sich unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Insbesondere die Aufteilung in Haupthaus (an der Klippe mit schöner Sicht) und unser Zimmer im Nebengebäude (eher im Kern des Ortes) war für uns vorher nicht ersichtlich und trug dazu bei. Positiv: 1) Historisches Gebäude (bis zu 1300) sehr liebevoll (2020) renoviert mit perfektem Mix aus Neu- und Alt. 2) Tolles team, das sogar als wir nach Münzen zum Parken fragten im Nachbarschäft die Münzen besorgte 3) Super Mini-Spar, welches man zur privaten Nutzung alleine für 1 Stunde buchen konnte mit Sauna und Whirlpool Für uns die entscheidenen Nachteile: 1) Nebengebäude nicht mit der Aussicht und einige Gehinuten durch den Ort entfernt vom Haupthaus an der Klippe mit Frühstück und Spa. 2) Unser Zimmer im Nebengebäude war im 2. Stock in im SEHR eng bebauten Kern mit Terasse über einem Restaurant. Es wurde gesungen, Kinder haben geschrien, Musik lief - alles sehr schön, aber nicht was wir uns im Entspannungsurlaub für die Preise und von den Fotos erhofft hatten 3) Bei der Ankunft wurden wir auch noch von der Polizei von dem Ort, wo wir mit dem Auto parken sollten um auszuladen, verscheucht. Unangenehm. Gastgeberin aber sehr bemüht und freundlich.

Katastrophe! Wir haben über Expedia gebucht. Als wir ankamen, stand uns kein Zimmer zur Verfügung. Man sagte uns ein Systemfehler sei aufgetreten und man könne uns das Zimmer nicht mehr anbieten. Bei Expedia nur ein telefonischer Service auf Englisch, der eine schlechte Verbindung hatte und uns nicht verstand. Eine Ersatzunterkunft mussten wir abends alleine finden. Der Service war freundlich. Angaben zu Pool und Wellnessbereich waren unserer Meinung nach irreführend. Der Pool ist eine etwas grössere Innenbadewanne in dem man nicht schwimmen kann und der vom Restaurant durch eine Scheibe im Boden getrennt ist - etwas merkwürdiges Konstrukt. Das Essen im Restaurant war leider geschmacklos und erinnerte etwas an Fertigsaucen. Ein Aussenbereich existiert im Restaurant nicht, allerdings lässt sich eine Schiebetür weit öffnen so dass man einen super Blick über den See hat. Fazit: Übernachtung ist nett auch wenn etwas teuer, Essen sollte man ausser Haus.

Smukke omgivelser, ubehøvlet personale

Vi kommer til hotellet, hvor den offentlige gratis parkering ligger 10 minutters gang fra receptionen. Vi bliver mødt af en dårlig engelsk talende tjener, som må forhøre sig hos værten. Vi bliver informeret gennem tjenerens mobil, om at vore værelse er 2 timer forsinket. Vi får ingen informationer om spaen, før vi senere på dagen, får kontakt til værten, og får afvide, at denne skal reserveres. Vi havde kun bestilt en enkelt overnatning, og da vi checker ud, er der problemer med kortbetaling. Det løser sig efter halvanden times diskussion, da vi giver os og hæver beløbet ved en bank. Ingen rabat, ved for forsinkelsen, in og ud checkingen. Smukke værelser, smukke omgivelser, hyggelig spa, gode mulighed for spisesteder, men ønsker man at føle sig velkommen og tryg, bør man finde et af de mange andre hotel i samme område.

splendida posizione e... sorpresa!

4 camere a tema, ben allestite. Alloggiamento in posizione estremamente panoramica in uno dei più bei borghi d'Italia. Sorpresa però perchè oltre a alloggiare abbiamo anche fatto cena e abbiamo trovato un cuoco all'altezza delle nostre aspettative. piatti deliziosi, curati per qualità e preparazione. Unik beliggenhet og fantastisk service!

Maken til denne utsikten skal det godt gjøres å få. høyt over Gardasjøen hengende på kanten av en stupbratt klippe. Man ser rett ned på hovedveien mellom Riva og Salo og den berømte veien fra James Bond-filmen ”Quantum of Solace” slynger seg oppover i flere høyder. Denne spektakulære veien fører til hotellet i landsbyen Pieve. På den andre siden av sjøen ser man vakre Malcesine med sin festning og gondolbanen opp til Monte Baldo. Med fire rom, egen kokk og servitør, og a la carte middagsmeny er dette helt unikt. Flotte rom, super mat, og fantastisk service og oppfølging hele veien. Denne gangen går det ikke en vei mellom hotellet og utsikten, eller noe annet man kan risikere at hoteller ikke forteller om. De flotte bildene tatt av en dyktig profesjonell fotograf lyver ikke i det hele tatt. Dette er akkurat så flott!

Just one night

Hard to find hotel but worth it. Park by pharmacy in park. 1/2 mile walk. Nice place. 4 rooms. Excellent dinner and breakfast with great view, wander the little streets. No AC. It was hot but crosswinds cooled room.
