"We loved our stay in Cat Ba! Linda was an amazing host and the staff were so helpful. We had the most delicious hot pot there one evening. Linda helped us with all our planning. It had a quaint garden with puppies running around, and monkeys howling in the distance. A/C worked and our daughter swam in the pool at night. Would recommend if looking for a homestay in the area!"

"The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. There were spiders and a centipede in the room but it was fine once we removed the critters. Lots of farm sounds with roosters, barking dogs...

"We all liked the spacious rooms which had all the facilities needed. It also was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. You could not fault the staff who were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal in the restaurant. The menu had plenty of choices Vietnamese and Western food. We all chose Vietnamese dishes and they were delicious. Also the prices were not that expensive. Plenty of choices at buffet breakfast again Vietnam and Western food. Price included in room...

"L’établissement a le mérite d’être très bien situé en face de la baie de Lan Ha Il est plutôt bien aménagé : les balcons agrémentés de végétation sont très agréables Mais cela reste un peu l’usine avec beaucoup de touristes chinois, bruyants et avec peu de manières Le personnel est adorable, le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet est bien fourni Le buffet du soir est à fuir : très cher et carrément mauvais"
