We had fun even though KU lost the game. We went to Mass St. to eat and shop.

Disappointed and disgusted

Did not actually stay in the hotel. Walked into the lobby and was overpowered by the smell of Curry spice. Was told by desk clerk that the plumbing was not working and would take at least half hour before water would be turned on. Checked in, went to the room. Hallway was cluttered with signs of repair work in progress. Bed was uncomfortable and when I pulled back cover to check sheets, I saw 3 or 4 inch black hair on the pillow. The sheets appeared not to have been changed after the prior guest. We did not stay. I asked for and was given a refund.

Mostly great.

Super friendly staff at check in. Beds were fine. Building is a little run down, but rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Only major complaint: I was traveling with high schoolers and I asked for wake-up calls to our rooms. While the desk said they would, no one received a wake-up call. Luckily my kids all set other alarms, but it could have been very bad.

Okay stay

Nothing special, but good for a stay during basketball game. Easy to find. Bathroom leak...mgt didn't seem concerned. Okay overall for price.

Awake all night.

I was awake all night because of people yelling, banging doors and roaming the halls. Finally called the front desk at 3:15 am and told them to do something. They should have been able to hear the noise because my room was very close to the front desk. Also, no clock in room and wake up call request was never done. Took a dozen tries to get the key card to work. Not the best neighborhood. Will never stay here again.

Very kind staff, helpful and welcoming.

The hotel is casual but clean and well-run, and the staff is very kind.

Hotel was not very well kept. Multiple stains on the bedding & rest of the room & hallway were not very clean.

Nice economy hotel

Nothing fancy by any stretch but pricing is good and the location, if visiting KU is perfect. Economy/value hotel. It is as expected. Owners are friendly and accommodating I was happy with my stay.

Not good.

Comfy bed. Cigarette holes in bed. Mold in bathroom. Smelled horrible. Expensive because we were in a college town during a football weekend. Only go if it’s a last option.

Long but informative

Access to get to hotel is a joke. Stayed on Fri. Paid$93. NOT worth inflated wkend price.2 queen beds but were smaller.Metal frame popped & seemed they would collapse.1not level. Slept in diff beds. husband slept at angle so feet wouldn't hang off. Room needed to be repainted 30 years ago. Walls badly stained. Bath tub was ok except mildew, shower curtain grossly stained, towels little stained. Shower head low. I'm 5'6 & was eye level with it& my husband is 6'2 had adventure trying to take a shower. Water stayed hot & decent water pressure. Heater/ac unit made noises all night but worked. NOT a place to get rest. Walls must be paper thin. Could hear everything ALL night. At 230am neighbors got in a fight &slamming doors & screaming outside our door.i was anxious & worried about our safety in a hotel. other guests' problems aren't hotel's fault - just thought if I had spent $20 more could've slept with a better peace of mind. Feel horrible bc I try to find the positives writing reviews. This hotel is someone's lively hood. I read reviews before booking &there is a reason they got rated low but i always take the reviews with a grain of salt bc people will give bad reviews bc they didn't get their extra pillow. I seen no sign of bugs.Best thing I can say is front desk guy was very nice

Neat and clean hotel

The road in front of the hotel was closed for some reason during a rain storm. Being there was only one way into and out of the parking lot I had to park in an apartment complex parking lot until the road opened and I could move my car - in the rain - as I did not want to get ticketed or had my car towed for parking in a lot I had no business parking in.

Terrible experience

Staff was hateful. Rook was dirty. Everything was worn out. Sheets on the bed had not been changed prior to our stay.
