Microtel was a fantastic find! Only open since December, we were pleased on many levels - helpful staff (Brandy at check-in couldn't have been better!), clean and comfortable room, lovely shower and bathroom amenities. The dog run area outside was large, groomed, had live grass (instead of dead weeds like some hotels), provided dog bags and a trash can that was in fact emptied each evening. Every time that I came downstairs, the staff was doing something to clean the lobby from mopping to windexing. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices, and again, cleanly presented. We appreciated the thoughtful way the room was set up and provided additional sitting areas (the cover over the air-conditioner is a great use of space!). We would absolutely stay here again!

Check-in was very quick, and all the staff members were friendly. The accommodation was very clean and seemed quite new. I also liked that the room had a bathtub, which was great for relaxing after a long day. I could see the Great Salt Lake from the room. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

Wanted away for my wife to get away from the kids for the night and be able to enjoy a nice bath. I came across this very simple and fairly priced hotel through Expedia and got it booked. I loved that the lady checking me in was super friendly, tried to give my son a free snack. She also offered another room if the current one didn’t have a bathtub. Only thing that surprised me is this hotel doesn’t have a swimming pool, it’s very simplistic and good for someone looking for just the basics and a clean hotel.
